  1. I’ve done all of these except swap seats on my 2015 Ultra Limited. So far I’ve been fine on the stock seat. Backrest and handlebars did the most for making my ride more comfortable.

  2. I’ve ridden HD touring bikes for the last 25 years. First a 2001 Electra Glide Classic and currently on a 2018 Road Glide. I recently bought a BMW 1300GS and the level of tech in that bike is miles beyond my Roadie. That said, the new bikes with the big screen are catching up – but one thing I wish Harley would do is add adaptive cruise. The BMW has radar front and rear, so I get blind spot monitoring as well as the ability for the bike to moderate speeds while cruising in traffic. This can be especially useful in group riding where you want to engage the cruise, but because the HD system is a “one speed only” setup, you’re constantly fiddling with the toggle to increase or reduce in order to maintain your position relative to other riders or traffic ahead of you. I also added lighted switch gear, which is great – but adaptive cruise should be on the short list of things HD needs to add to their premium touring motorcycles.

  3. My number one is grips. Soft and padded. I see many guys with custom chrome or machined aluminum ones on trailer queens but after 100 miles your hands hurt or tingle for an hour after stopping. Sure, the chrome custom ones look cool when the bike is just sitting there, or bar hopping but suck on a road trip.
