  1. Fun fact ce level 1 armor really doesn’t really help you in anyway as the amount of force it is rated to allow to transmit to your body is still more than enough to break any of the bones in its vicinity it’s supposed to be protecting therefore it may stop some bruising but actually preventing a break or fracture is a once in a blue moon scenario

Example an ce level 1 elbow/arm protector is rated to endure a 50 jule hit and only transmit 18 Kn of force with the max being 24 Kn and a ce level 2 taking 50 jule hit and only transferring 9 Kn with a max being 12 Kn, however the human arm and elbow region will fracture at 1 to 5 Kn of force.
So what is the point of a pad anyway then? It may prevent some bruising and abrasion but in any scenario where your gonna actually damage something it won’t actually help you and just adds unnecessary bulk to the garment

  2. In my country if you want an actual genuine good quality helmet you pretty much have to sell your kidney and balls (why would i protect myself after that no?)
