Motorcycle travels can be the best. But here are 7 Lessons I wish I knew before hitting the road. Keep in mind that these are just some of many lessons that I’ve learned. 1. I used to save up my worn out underwear just to use them on extended mc trips. That way, all I had to do was throw them away after getting a shower. Good thing is – it actually lightens your load as the trip goes on.

  2. You need to do a test campout first to actually see what you want and need, and what you don’t. I first camped out in my back yard to see how I liked my sleep system. Than I did a few trips to close local camp grounds to practice setting up camp and repacking the bike the next morning. I wanted to have anything I need to get at while on the road, easy to get to. And have everything have its place so it will be packed the same way and not get lose while on the road.
And I carry a bike cover for when the bike is parked over night (or unattended for a long time) So it’s protected from morning dew or an over night rain. It also has a cable lock so it can’t be removed and the cable is actually an alarm so I will know if you mess with it!
