I’m 6’3 and have 16 inch apes on my vulcan 1500 classic with a stock seat and love them. If I’m riding slouched, my hands are slightly above my shoulders. If I ride sitting upright, my hands are about equal, maybe slightly under my shoulders, which is good in case I get pulled over.
Hi Robert, thanks for the video and help in choosing bars. I am turning my 2011 Softail Deluxe into a trike because of a leg injury. Is there a certain size height and width bar that I should go with? Is the advice different for trikes or should I just follow what your video says?
Tall handle bars maybe more comfortable maybe? But the taller they are the less control you have that’s just facts you don’t see ape hangers on race bikes do you being more comfortable on a long ride is nice but those stupid ape hangers that have you’re hands way above you’re shoulders are stupid and dangerous
